The session is sixty minutes, but the block you need to reserve is longer. Working out whether it fits a lunch hour or an evening.

The appointment is sixty minutes. The block you should put in your calendar is closer to ninety, and that gap is where most scheduling regret comes from.
Add ten minutes at the front for arriving, checking in and getting settled rather than sprinting through the door with a minute to spare. Add five to ten at the back, because you will not want to stand up immediately, and pushing through that is a waste of the last part of what you paid for. Then add your drive on both ends. From most of Salt Lake City proper that is a short trip. From Sandy or the far south end of the valley it is around twenty-two minutes each way, which pushes the whole thing to roughly two hours.
That arithmetic makes a lunch hour difficult unless you work within a few blocks of State Street around 1100 South. If you do, it is workable. If you are coming from Sugar House or the University of Utah, a lunch break is tight enough that you will spend the hour watching a clock you cannot see, which defeats the exercise.
Evenings are the easier answer. We close at ten at night, every night, so a seven or eight o'clock start is a normal booking rather than a favour. That timing also puts you on the road after the worst of the traffic and lets you go straight home afterwards rather than back to a desk.
Why sixty minutes and not twenty. The first stretch of the appointment is spent unwinding rather than working. Bodies do not switch off on command, and a short session ends around the moment most people actually let go. An hour leaves enough room to cover the entire head in sections, unhurried, and still have the shoulders and neck get real attention rather than a token pass.
There is no longer option, and that is a deliberate decision rather than a gap in the menu. The sequence has a natural length. Stretching it to ninety would mean repeating rather than progressing. If you want more time in the building, the honest route is a second service beside it rather than an inflated version of this one.
How long the effects stay is the other half of the question, and it is the part we will not oversell. People typically describe feeling loose and slightly foggy for the rest of that evening, then more ordinary the next day. Some notice their shoulders sit lower for a while. None of that is measured, and anyone quoting you a number of days is guessing.
One practical note on the tail end. Do not schedule anything sharp for the hour afterwards. A meeting that requires you to be quick is the wrong thing to walk into, and the twenty minutes you gain by squeezing it in costs you most of the benefit.
Sixty minutes on the table, eighty-five dollars, seven days a week.

"Spotless, and all the staff were very nice. We set an appointment for a couples massage and they had a nice two-bed room ready when we arrived. Highly recommend."
